DS Auto Rentals
Renting a car means handing over your licence and your details. Here's exactly what we collect, why we need it, and how long we keep it.
We don't ask for information we don't need to rent you a vehicle.
This is the most sensitive thing we hold, so we're specific about it. Licence images are used for one purpose: verifying that you are legally permitted to drive the vehicle you've reserved, and that the person collecting the car is the person who booked it.
We do not sell licence data, share it for marketing, or use it to build any profile about you. Access is limited to staff who need it to process your rental.
We share your information only where it's necessary:
We do not sell your personal information.
Booking records are kept longer because tax and insurance rules require it. If you want your data removed sooner, contact us and we'll delete whatever we're not legally obliged to retain.
Information you submit through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it, and we review that access periodically.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by Massachusetts law.
You can ask us to:
Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first — which, given what we hold, is a protection for you.
We use cookies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the booking process may stop working if you do.
